What it treats

Three complaints that look different but share a cause: skin that is warm, damp and rubbed all day. They are the reason this bottle exists.

Ringworm दाद

A round patch with a raised, scaly rim that creeps outward while the middle fades. It favours the groin, the waistband, the inner thighs and under the arms, and it travels on shared towels, bedsheets and clothes.

Itching खाज, खुजली

The itch that sharpens at night and after sweating. Scratching is what does the damage: it breaks the skin open and carries the infection to wherever your fingers go next.

Dry eczema सूखी खुजली

Rough, flaking skin that cracks at the folds and stays dry no matter how much cream goes on it. It stings when scratched and thickens over the months if it is left alone.

Why it works

It stops the scratching first

The burning and the itch settle early, usually within the first few applications. That matters more than it sounds: skin that is not being scratched raw is skin that can finally close over and heal.

It treats the edge, not the middle

The live, spreading part of a ringworm patch is its rim, not the pale centre. Applied a finger's width past the visible edge, the lotion lands where the infection is actually moving.

Made for the stubborn cases

A doctor-curated formulation intended for the repeat infections that return a few weeks after an ordinary cream is stopped, and for skin that has been through several of them.

One formula, unchanged

The same preparation Mishree has sold through chemists and retailers in Gujarat for years. Nothing reformulated, nothing seasonal — one bottle that does one job.

How to use it

Four steps, twice a day. The last one is the step most people skip, and it is the reason the patch comes back.

  1. Wash the area and dry it fully

Soap, water, then pat completely dry with a clean towel. The lotion sits and works properly on dry skin; on damp skin it thins and runs off.

  2. Dab it on with cotton

A little on a piece of cotton wool, spread as a thin film over the whole patch and about a centimetre past its edge. Use fresh cotton each time and do not share it.

  3. Let it dry before dressing

Give it a minute or two uncovered. It is a deep red lotion and it will mark whatever it touches, so keep good clothes and bedsheets clear of it.

  4. Keep going for a week after it looks clear

Morning and night, without gaps. The skin looks healed before the infection is gone — stopping at that point is what brings the patch back.

Before you use it

  • For external use only. Do not swallow it.
  • Keep it away from the eyes, lips, inside of the nose and the genitals.
  • Do not put it on broken, bleeding, weeping or raw skin.
  • If your skin is sensitive, try a small patch first and wait a day.
  • Stop using it if there is strong burning, swelling or a new rash.
  • Not for infants, and not during pregnancy without asking a doctor.
  • Keep out of reach of children. Store below 30 °C, out of direct sun.
  • If the patch has not begun to clear in two weeks, or it keeps returning, see a doctor.

Questions people ask

How soon will I see a difference?

The itching usually settles in the first two or three days. The patch takes longer — the rim stops spreading first, then the skin inside starts to clear from the centre out. Give it a full two weeks of twice-daily use before you judge whether it is working.

Will it stain my clothes?

Yes. It is a deep red lotion and it marks fabric, bedding and light-coloured towels. Let it dry on the skin before you dress, wear something old over the area at night, and keep the bottle upright and capped.

Is it meant to sting?

A mild sting for a few seconds on freshly scratched skin is normal and passes. A strong burn that keeps going, or swelling and a new rash, is not — wash it off with plain water and stop using it.

Can I use it on my face or scalp?

No. Facial skin is thin and too close to the eyes, and a scalp patch sits in the hair roots where a lotion cannot reach properly. Ringworm on the face or scalp needs a doctor.

Can children use it?

An older child, yes — applied by an adult, on a small area, away from the face. Not on infants, and not on a child who already has sore or broken skin, without a doctor's advice first.

Why does ringworm keep coming back?

Nearly always one of three reasons: treatment stopped as soon as the skin looked clear, the fungus is still living on clothes, towels and bedsheets, or someone else at home has it untreated. Finish the course, wash everything the patch touched in hot water and dry it in direct sun, and treat the whole household together.
